Common questions about the Ryu Pop! Games from Funko (2016).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Ryu Pop! Games figure (SKU 192) is generally considered a common item within the Funko Pop! Games line. It was part of a large-scale 2016 release featuring multiple video game characters, meaning production numbers were high. While not rare in the traditional sense, its value is typically low compared to limited-edition or exclusive variants.
The 2016 Funko Pop! Games Ryu (SKU 192) is a common mass-produced vinyl figure, so its value is primarily determined by condition and whether it is still in its original box. In the secondary market, a sealed, unopened figure typically retails for approximately $15 to $25, while a loose figure usually sells for around $10 to $15. Because this item was part of a large production run, it is not considered a rare collectible, and prices generally remain stable unless the figure is damaged or the box is significantly worn.
To authenticate your 2016 Ryu Pop! (SKU 192), first verify the box seal is intact and the printed SKU on the box matches the number on the figure's base. Inspect the vinyl for consistent color saturation, sharp edge definition, and the correct "Funko" logo on the base, as counterfeit figures often feature blurry printing or inconsistent paint application. Compare the figure's proportions and the specific "Games" series branding against high-resolution images of the authentic product, noting that the 2016 release typically features a specific pose and colorway that differs from later re-releases. If the vinyl feels lightweight, has a rough texture, or the box lacks the standard Funko security features, it is likely a reproduction.
The Ryu Pop! Games was released in 2016 by Funko.
The Ryu Pop! Games figure (SKU 192) is generally considered out of print, as Funko has discontinued many of its early 2016 releases. While new stock is no longer produced, the figure may still be found in the secondary market or through select retailers holding leftover inventory.
To grade a Ryu Pop! Games, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint errors, seam lines, or chipped plastic. Check the packaging for the correct SKU 192 and verify the year of manufacture is 2016. For a formal grade, send the item to a professional grading service like PSA or CGC, which will assess the figure's condition on a standardized scale.
