The S'mores Boy Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Funko Special-Edition is not considered rare because it was a mass-produced item released in 2023. While special editions often have lower production runs than standard vinyl figures, this specific release was widely available through major retailers and does not possess the scarcity factors associated with limited or exclusive collectibles.
The S'mores Boy Pop! [Fantastik Plastik] Funko Special-Edition (SE) is a limited 2023 release that typically sells for approximately $25 to $40 in new, unopened condition on secondary markets. Because this item is a specific variant of the standard S'mores Boy Pop, its value is generally lower than the base figure, which often commands a premium due to higher demand. Prices can fluctuate based on current market trends, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most reliable way to determine its exact current worth.
Authenticating a 2023 Funko Special-Edition figure like the S'mores Boy Pop! requires checking for specific quality markers, such as the presence of the "SE" logo on the base and the correct copyright year (©2023) on the packaging. Look for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the official Funko logo on the box, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, loose joints, or incorrect font styles. While there is no single universal authentication certificate for standard retail releases, comparing your item side-by-side with high-resolution images from Funko’s official website or reputable collector databases can help identify discrepancies in color, texture, and packaging design.

To grade this item, you should inspect the vinyl surface for any scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the textured "s'mores" details which can be prone to chipping. Check the packaging for any tears, creases, or signs of tampering, as the box condition significantly impacts the value of a Special-Edition release. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's condition and the integrity of its packaging.
