Common questions about the Sam Greenfield Pop! Movies from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Sam Greenfield Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2022 and was widely available through major retail channels. Because it is a common variant without special exclusivity, it does not carry a premium value compared to limited edition or chase variants.
The value of a Sam Greenfield Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1288) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is in the original box. As a standard 2022 release, the retail price for a new, in-box figure typically ranges from $10 to $15, while used copies generally sell for less. There is no established premium market for this specific character, so it is not considered a high-value collectible.
To authenticate your 2022 Sam Greenfield Funko Pop! (SKU 1288), first verify that the figure is accompanied by the original sealed box, which should display the correct product name, the 2022 copyright date, and the specific SKU number on the label. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, clean seams, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit figures often exhibit sloppy molding or faded colors. If the item is unboxed, compare its physical dimensions and weight against known genuine examples, noting that authentic vinyl has a distinct heft and texture compared to cheaper imitations.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Sam Greenfield Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1288) is currently in print or available to buy new from Funko. As a 2022 release, it is likely out of production, and availability for new units is typically limited to third-party resellers or secondary markets.
To condition-check a Sam Greenfield Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl for any cracks, hairline fractures, or discoloration, paying close attention to the joints and the base. Verify that the paint application is clean without smudges, and ensure the figure is securely seated in its original box with the window intact and free of scratches. If you are seeking a professional grade, submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its overall cosmetic condition.
