The Sam Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2020. Like most standard Funko Pop! releases, it was manufactured in large quantities and remains widely available in the secondary market.
The value of a Funko Pop! Movies Sam (SKU 1036) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is in the original box. Generally, a sealed, mint-condition figure from this 2020 release typically sells for between $15 and $30 on the secondary market, while unboxed figures are worth considerably less. Prices can fluctuate based on current demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
To authenticate a 2020 Sam Pop! (SKU 1036), verify that the figure features the standard Funko logo and copyright text on the base, which should read "©2020 Funko" or similar, and check that the vinyl has the characteristic smooth, matte finish without excessive gloss. Examine the paint application for consistency, as genuine figures typically have clean lines and minimal bleeding, while counterfeit versions often exhibit sloppy detailing or incorrect color shades. If the packaging is included, ensure the box displays the official Funko branding and that the window is intact, as tampered or missing packaging is a common indicator of a replica.

The Sam Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1036) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was released in 2020 and has since been discontinued, meaning it can only be purchased through the secondary market from third-party resellers.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is assessed informally by collectors based on the presence of factory flaws such as paint overspray, seam lines, or missing parts. For a used item, you should inspect the figure under bright light for scratches, check the head and hands for discoloration, and verify that the base is clean and free of scuffs. If the figure is in its original box, the condition of the packaging, including the window clarity and box corners, is also a significant factor in its value.
