The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Sam Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1036) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2020. These figures were widely distributed through major retailers and online marketplaces, making them relatively common and easy to find in the secondary market.
The value of a 2020 Sam Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1036) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. Generally, these figures trade in the secondary market for approximately $5 to $15, with sealed copies commanding the higher end of that range. Prices can fluctuate based on current collector demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. To authenticate a Funko Pop! yourself, check for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and a clear, uncracked vinyl surface, and verify that the box features the official Funko logo and a valid SKU. For definitive confirmation, you can submit the item for authentication through a third-party service like PSA, Beckett, or JSA, which will provide a graded certificate if the figure is genuine.
The Sam Pop! Movies was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the production of the Sam Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1036), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear as a third-party listing on secondary markets, these are typically used or resold copies rather than new stock.
Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, as well as checking the box for creases, tears, and lid fit. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its condition. Be aware that standard grading fees and turnaround times apply, and the process is irreversible once the item is sealed in the grading slab.
