The Sandy Olsson (Carnival) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 556) is a standard retail release that typically sells for between $10 and $15 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. To authenticate your 2018 Sandy Olsson Pop! (SKU 556), first verify that the box is sealed with the standard Funko shrink wrap and that the figure itself features the correct paint application, specifically the red dress and blonde hair, without significant bleeding or misalignment. Check the bottom of the figure for the molded "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number 556, which should be clearly legible. Additionally, inspect the plastic for a smooth, consistent texture and ensure the eyes are properly centered, as counterfeit figures often exhibit rough seams, off-color plastics, or poor paint quality. If the figure lacks these specific manufacturing details or the box art does not match the 2018 release specifications, it may be a reproduction.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for paint defects, such as missing eyes, chipped paint, or scratches, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body. You should also examine the box for any damage, creases, or wear, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. While professional grading services like PSA exist for collectibles, they are rarely used for standard mass-produced Funko Pops, so most collectors assess condition visually against known factory flaws.
