No, the Santa Claus Pop! Disney (SKU 610) is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-produced figure from the Disney holiday collection that was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific variants like Chase figures or exclusive store releases may be harder to find, the base item is common in the secondary market.
The value of a Funko Pop! Santa Claus (SKU 610) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened retail boxes typically selling for $15 to $25 and loose figures ranging from $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate depending on current market demand and whether the item is sold as part of a complete set. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Santa Claus (SKU 610), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, original box with the correct product name, image, and barcode matching official Funko listings. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, uneven seams, or incorrect colors. You can also cross-reference the SKU number on the box against Funko's official catalog to ensure it corresponds to the Disney Santa Claus release. If the item lacks a box, authentication is more difficult, so compare the figure's details closely against high-resolution images of verified authentic examples.
The Santa Claus Pop! Disney (SKU 610) was released in 2015. It is part of the Disney Movie Villains series and features the character from the 1992 film *Aladdin*.
Funko has discontinued the Santa Claus Pop! Disney figure (SKU 610), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or collectibles dealers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To grade a Santa Claus Pop! Disney, you should first inspect the vinyl for any mold defects, paint overspray, or surface scratches, paying close attention to the hat trim and beard details where imperfections often occur. If you intend to submit it for professional grading, the figure must be in its original sealed box with the window intact and no signs of tampering, as services like PSA or Beckett require the item to be in its original packaging for a grade. For a simple condition check, verify that the box is square, the window is clear, and the figure inside is centered and undamaged before listing it for sale.
