The Santa Jack Skellington Pop! (SKU 72) is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release from 2013, meaning it was widely available in stores and online. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it is generally accessible to collectors.
The 2013 Santa Jack Skellington Pop! (SKU 72) is a limited-edition holiday variant of the standard Jack Skellington figure. In the current secondary market, sealed copies typically sell for approximately $15 to $25, while unboxed figures generally range from $8 to $15, depending on condition and seller. Prices can fluctuate based on demand for holiday-themed Funko Pops, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX is recommended for the most accurate valuation.
The most reliable way to authenticate your Santa Jack Skellington Pop! is to examine the box for the official Funko logo, the "Disney" branding, and the specific SKU number 72 printed on the packaging. Inspect the vinyl figure for a smooth, uniform finish and check that the paint is crisp without bleeding, as mass-produced fakes often exhibit sloppy detailing or incorrect proportions. Verify that the figure's base is solid and the head articulation feels consistent with the 2013 production run, noting that this specific holiday variant was part of a limited seasonal release. If the box shows signs of tampering or the vinyl feels unusually light or brittle, it may be a replica, so comparing it side-by-side with a known authentic example is recommended.

To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or dust, and verify that the eyes and mouth are intact without chipping. Check the base for stability and ensure the packaging is free of major dents or tears if you are evaluating the box condition. For formal grading, submit the figure to a third-party service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical grade based on specific defect criteria.
