The value of the 2023 Sauron Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1487) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $15 in mint, sealed condition. To authenticate your Sauron Pop! Movies (SKU 1487), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure is encased in a clear plastic window. Check the bottom of the figure for the "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number 1487, which should be clearly printed on the base. Additionally, inspect the paint application and sculpt details for consistency with official Funko product images, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, uneven seams, or incorrect color saturation.

Funko has discontinued the Sauron Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1487), so it is no longer in print or available to buy new from official retail channels. This item is now considered out of print, meaning new stock is no longer being produced, and collectors typically must seek out used or pre-owned copies from secondary markets.
To condition-check a Sauron Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the eyes, mouth, and any intricate details like the rings on the hands. Verify that the figure is securely attached to the base and that the head and arms are properly aligned without gaps. Check the packaging for any creases, tears, or "pop-out" damage, as these factors significantly impact the item's value for collectors.
