Common questions about the Scourge Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Scourge Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1377) is not considered a rare item, as it was part of a standard mass-production release for the 2023 *Mortal Kombat* movie. It is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning its value is generally determined by its condition rather than scarcity.
The retail price for the 2023 Funko Pop! Movies Scourge (SKU 1377) is typically around $12.99, though current market value for sealed figures often ranges between $10 and $15 depending on local availability. As a standard mass-produced item from a major franchise, it does not generally command a premium over its original retail price in the secondary market.
To authenticate your 2023 Scourge Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1377), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the correct paint application and sculpt details specific to that release. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and copyright date, as poor printing or missing logos are common indicators of counterfeits. If the packaging feels flimsy, the colors appear faded, or the plastic has a rough texture, it is likely a fake, and you should compare it against high-resolution images of the authentic product from Funko's official catalog.
The Scourge Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has not publicly confirmed that the Scourge Pop! Movies (SKU 1377) is currently out of print, so it remains technically in production. However, availability for this specific character is often inconsistent, and it may be difficult to find new in stock at major retailers. I recommend checking current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized retailers to confirm immediate availability.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the figure for paint defects, scratches, or loose parts. Check the packaging for any damage, as a sealed box with a clean, undamaged window is generally considered to be in mint condition. If the figure is loose, look for signs of wear on the head, hands, and base, which are common points of contact.
