Common questions about the Scrooge Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Scrooge Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2023 catalog. It was widely distributed through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning it is readily available in both new and used condition.
The standard retail price for the 2023 Funko Pop! Movies Scrooge (SKU 1455) is typically around $12.99. In the secondary market, unopened copies generally trade between $10 and $15, while opened figures usually sell for less than their original retail value. Prices can fluctuate based on current demand and condition, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate your Scrooge Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number 1455, and a barcode that scans to the specific product. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting, and the standard Funko "pop" eyes, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry details, uneven seams, or off-color plastics. If the packaging lacks a holographic sticker or the figure feels unusually light compared to the expected weight for a standard 3.75-inch vinyl, it is likely a replica.
The Scrooge Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Scrooge Pop! Movies figure, so it remains technically in print. However, availability for new units fluctuates significantly, and the item is frequently sold out at major retailers. You should check current stock on Funko's official website or authorized retailers to confirm immediate availability.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps. You should also examine the box for any dents, creases, or damage to the window, as these factors significantly impact the item's value. While third-party grading services exist for collectibles, most buyers and sellers rely on high-resolution photos of the figure and box to assess its condition before a transaction.
