No, the LEGO set 9675 Sebulba's Podracer & Tatooine is not considered rare. It was a widely produced set released in 2012 as part of the Star Wars line, meaning it was readily available in retail stores and online during its production run. While finding a complete, unopened box in mint condition may be more difficult today due to its age, the set itself is common and not a limited edition or highly sought-after collector's item.

To authenticate your LEGO set 9675, first verify that the box and instruction booklet match the official 2012 release, which features the specific color scheme and branding for that year. Inspect the plastic pieces for consistent quality, sharp molding, and the correct LEGO logo on the studs, as counterfeit sets often exhibit rough edges, faded colors, or missing logos. Check the set number 9675 printed on the box and the instruction manual, ensuring the piece count aligns with the official specification of 1,024 pieces. If the packaging appears worn or the plastic feels brittle and discolored in a way inconsistent with age, consider having the set evaluated by a professional LEGO authentication service.

Condition grading for LEGO sets like 9675 is typically performed by third-party authentication services such as PSA, which assess the box, instructions, and minifigures on a 1-10 scale. For ungraded sets, you should inspect the box for shelf wear, check that all minifigures and pieces are present, and verify that the instructions are intact and free of significant damage. Note that LEGO does not offer an official grading service, so any value assessment relies on the market condition of the complete set.
