No, the LEGO Star Wars Senate Commando Troopers set (75088) is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release from 2015 and was widely available through major retailers and the LEGO website during its production run. Lego does not produce a set with the SKU 75088, as this number corresponds to the 2015 Star Wars set "Rebel Troopers" (75088), not "Senate Commando Troopers." Therefore, you cannot authenticate a product with this specific SKU and name combination because it does not exist in the official Lego catalog. If you possess a box labeled with this SKU, it is likely a mislabeled item, a counterfeit, or a private mold reproduction, and you should verify the actual contents against the official 75088 Rebel Troopers set details.

Lego set 75088, Senate Commando Troopers, is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to buy new directly from the Lego website or retail stores, and collectors must seek out the set on the secondary market.
Grading a LEGO set like the Senate Commando Troopers (75088) involves assessing the condition of the minifigures, accessories, and any included cards or packaging. For a complete set, you should inspect the troopers for signs of wear, such as faded printing, loose joints, or missing parts, and verify that all included elements are present. If the set is in its original box, the condition of the packaging, including the box corners and any shrink wrap, significantly impacts its value. For a formal grade, you can submit the set to a third-party grading service, though most collectors simply evaluate it based on completeness and cosmetic condition.
