No, the Sentai Genji Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2019 as part of their broader Pop! Games line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in the secondary market.
The Sentai Genji Pop! Games figure (SKU 519) is a standard retail collectible that typically sells for between $10 and $20 in new condition. Because it was released in 2019 and is not a limited edition or chase variant, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the packaging for the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number (519 for this item), and a barcode that matches the manufacturer's records. The figure itself should have a smooth, uniform plastic finish with sharp, clean seams and accurate paint application, particularly on the red and black armor details. Be wary of figures with visible mold lines, off-center eyes, or packaging that lacks the standard Funko branding and holographic stickers, as these are common indicators of counterfeits. If the item was purchased from a reputable retailer, it is likely authentic, but any significant deviations in weight, texture, or packaging quality suggest you should seek a professional appraisal.

To grade a Sentai Genji Pop! Games figure, you should submit it to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, which will evaluate the item based on specific criteria including paint condition, seam lines, and overall structural integrity. For a self-condition check, inspect the figure under bright light for common defects like paint chips, hairline cracks, or misaligned parts, paying particular attention to the head and hands where wear is most likely to occur.
