Common questions about the Shaun Pop! Movies from Funko (2015).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Shaun Pop! Movies figure (SKU 240) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2015 as part of the regular movie series, meaning it was widely distributed and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant. Consequently, it remains readily available on the secondary market and does not carry the scarcity premium associated with rare Funko releases.
The value of a Shaun Pop! Movies figure (SKU 240) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard 2015 release, an unopened figure typically sells for between $5 and $15, while an opened figure generally commands a lower price, often under $5. These figures are common in the secondary market, so prices fluctuate based on current demand and specific marketplace listings.
To authenticate your Shaun Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging displays the correct SKU number 240 and the 2015 release date, as this specific item was part of the initial wave of the Shaun the Sheep movie line. Inspect the physical figure for high-quality paint application, consistent plastic molding, and the presence of the official Funko logo on the base, noting that genuine 2015 releases typically feature a standard white base without special editions. If the box lacks a barcode, the Funko logo, or the specific movie title branding, or if the figure feels unusually light or has poor paint coverage, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Shaun Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Shaun Pop! Movies figure (SKU 240) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2015 release, it has been discontinued, meaning any new copies found on the market are likely resold inventory or counterfeits. Collectors seeking this item must look for used examples on the secondary market.
To condition-check a Shaun Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the eyes and mouth which are prone to wear. Verify that the head is properly seated on the body and that the base is free from cracks or discoloration. If you intend to have it professionally graded, ensure the figure is in its original sealed box with the window intact, as most grading services require unopened packaging for a high grade.
