Common questions about the Shawn Mendes Pop! Rocks from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Shawn Mendes Pop! Rocks figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard retail release by Funko in 2020. These items were widely available through major retailers and online stores, meaning production numbers were high enough to keep them common in the secondary market.
The Shawn Mendes Pop! Rocks (SKU 161) is a standard mass-produced vinyl figure that typically sells for between $5 and $10 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Because it is a common release from 2020, it does not command a premium price, and open figures generally have little to no resale value. Prices may fluctuate slightly based on current demand, but it remains a low-cost collectible.
To authenticate your 2020 Shawn Mendes Pop! Rocks (SKU 161), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl and features the standard Funko Pop! logo on the base, as the "Rocks" line typically refers to the standard vinyl product line rather than a separate material variant. Check the packaging for a holographic Funko sticker, a UPC barcode, and the specific SKU number 161 printed on the box. If the figure feels lightweight, has poor paint application, or lacks the official Funko branding, it is likely a counterfeit, and you should compare it against high-resolution images of the authentic 2020 release to confirm details.
The Shawn Mendes Pop! Rocks was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Shawn Mendes Pop! Rocks figure (SKU 161) is out of print and no longer available for purchase as new from Funko. This item was part of a limited-edition series released in 2020, and Funko typically discontinues production of specific artist figures once the initial run is sold out.
Condition-checking a Shawn Mendes Pop! Rock involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, while verifying that the packaging is free of tears, creases, or significant wear. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a professional third-party grading service, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and box's cosmetic condition.
