Common questions about the Sheriff Woody Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Sheriff Woody Pop! Disney (SKU 522) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the original Disney Pop! line, which was widely distributed in major retail stores and online retailers. Because it was a common release rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant, it is generally easy to find and does not command a premium price in the secondary market.
The value of a Sheriff Woody Pop! Disney figure (SKU 522) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. Generally, unopened figures in good condition retail for approximately $10 to $15, while opened figures typically sell for less, often around $5 to $8. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
To authenticate a Sheriff Woody Pop! Disney (SKU 522), first verify that the figure is sealed in its original box with the correct Funko branding and that the window is intact. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper joint articulation, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature sloppy painting or missing details. While there is no single definitive test for every replica, significant deviations in color, texture, or packaging quality are strong indicators of a fake. If the item appears suspicious, consulting a professional authentication service or comparing it side-by-side with a verified genuine example is recommended.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! figures in their official records. While the Sheriff Woody figure (SKU 522) was part of the standard Disney line, exact launch timing is not reliably documented in public sources.
Funko has discontinued the Sheriff Woody Pop! Disney vinyl figure (SKU 522), so it is no longer in print. It is no longer available to buy new directly from Funko or major retail partners. Collectors seeking a new copy must look for unopened stock from private sellers, which is typically sold at a premium above the original retail price.
To condition-check a Sheriff Woody Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, paying close attention to the hat, badge, and lasso details. Verify that the figure is seated correctly within the window box and that the acrylic front is free of cracks or significant scuffs. Check the packaging for any creases, tears, or fading, as these factors significantly impact the item's value for collectors.
