Common questions about the Short Round Pop! Disney from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Short Round Pop! Disney (SKU 1412) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2023 Disney line, and because it was widely available through major retailers, it is generally easy to find in new condition.
The Short Round Pop! Disney (SKU 1412) is a 2023 release, and its value depends heavily on whether it is still in its original sealed box or has been opened. Sealed figures from this era typically trade in the $10 to $20 range, while opened figures generally sell for $5 to $15 depending on condition. Because this is a relatively recent mass-production item, its value is primarily driven by collector demand for the specific character and the "Short Round" form factor, rather than rarity.
To authenticate your 2023 Short Round Pop! Disney (SKU 1412), first verify the packaging: the box should be a standard Funko short round shape with a clear window, and the printed SKU 1412 on the back label must match the product. Inspect the vinyl figure for sharp, clean edges and consistent paint application, as mass-produced Funks typically have uniform color saturation and no visible mold lines. Check the base for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the figure fits snugly in its molded plastic tray. If the vinyl feels soft, has chipped paint, or the box shows signs of tampering or poor print quality, it may be a counterfeit.
The Short Round Pop! Disney was released in 2023 by Funko.
The Short Round Pop! Disney (SKU 1412) is generally considered out of print as part of Funko's 2023 release cycle. While it is no longer produced in large quantities, new stock may still be found at select retail partners or through secondary marketplaces, though availability is limited.
Short Round Pop! figures are typically evaluated using standard collectible grading criteria, focusing on the integrity of the vinyl, the condition of the base, and the clarity of the window. Inspect the figure for any cracks, scratches, or paint imperfections, and verify that the acrylic display case is free of chips or clouding. While major grading services like PSA or Beckett can assign a numerical grade, most collectors perform a visual inspection to check for common defects such as misaligned eyes or uneven paint application.
