The Short Round Pop! Movies series is generally considered a common line rather than a rare collectible, as Funko produces these figures in large, consistent runs. While specific movie titles within the series may have lower production numbers, the overall Short Round format is widely available and not typically classified as rare.
The Short Round Pop! Movies (SKU 1412) is a 2023 Funko release, and its value depends heavily on condition and whether it is in the box or loose. As a relatively recent release, it typically trades near or slightly below retail price in the secondary market unless it is a rare variant or part of a complete set. Without specific market data for this exact SKU, I cannot provide a precise dollar figure, but it generally holds a modest collector value rather than a high premium.
To authenticate your 2023 Short Round Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1412), first verify the packaging integrity, ensuring the box is undamaged and the seal is intact. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp details, and the correct Funko logo on the base. Cross-reference the SKU 1412 with Funko's official product listings to confirm it matches the "Short Round" series specifications. If the figure lacks the proper branding or shows signs of poor paint application, it may be a replica, so comparing it against a known authentic example is the most reliable verification method.

The Short Round Pop! Movies series is a limited edition line that is generally considered out of print. While individual figures from the 2023 release may still be found in the secondary market, new stock is typically scarce or unavailable from major retailers.
To condition-check a Short Round Pop! Movies figure, first inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the head and limbs which are prone to damage. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its original box, ensuring the lid fits snugly and the internal foam insert is intact. Check the box itself for dents, creases, or faded printing, as these factors significantly impact resale value. If the figure is loose or the box shows wear, note these defects clearly when grading or listing the item.
