No, the Shredder Pop! Television figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2024 as part of the regular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series line, meaning it was widely available through retail channels. While specific production numbers for this SKU are not publicly disclosed by Funko, it does not carry the limited-edition status that defines rare collectibles.
The Shredder Pop! Television figure (SKU 1636) is a standard retail item from the 2024 release, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it remains sealed in its original box. As a common mass-produced collectible, it typically trades at or near its original retail price, with sealed copies commanding a slight premium over opened ones. There is no significant secondary market markup for this specific SKU, so it is not considered a high-value investment.
To authenticate your 2024 Shredder Pop! Television (SKU 1636), verify that the box features the standard Funko branding, a scannable barcode, and the specific SKU number printed on the side. The figure itself should have a smooth, consistent vinyl finish with sharp, defined sculpting and no visible mold lines or excess plastic. While Funko does not include unique serial numbers on standard retail items, you can cross-reference the packaging details and figure quality against images from the official Funko website or reputable collector communities to confirm it matches the 2024 release specifications.

I cannot confirm the current print status or new availability of the Shredder Pop! Television (SKU 1636) without access to real-time inventory data. Funko frequently rotates its product lines, so this item may be out of print, limited edition, or simply out of stock at major retailers. I recommend checking the official Funko website or contacting authorized retailers directly for the most accurate availability information.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned parts, and verifying that the box is free of significant dents, tears, or creases. For a 2024 release, the item is likely in Near Mint or Mint condition if it has been stored properly, as it has not had time to age significantly. If you require a formal grade for resale, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical state.
