The Shrek (Roaring) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2024. It is widely available through major retailers and the Funko website, meaning it does not carry the scarcity factors associated with limited editions, exclusives, or discontinued items.
The Shrek (Roaring) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1599) is a standard mass-produced collectible that typically retails for approximately $10 to $15. As a recent release, its value in the secondary market generally remains at or near retail price unless the item is sealed in a special variant or part of a complete set. There is no significant premium for this specific standard edition at this time.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Shrek (Roaring) #1599, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number, and a valid UPC barcode. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko Pop! base, while checking that the packaging feels sturdy and the print quality is high. If the item lacks these standard manufacturing markers or appears to have poor paint coverage, it may be a counterfeit, and you can confirm authenticity by comparing it to official Funko product images or contacting Funko customer service directly.

Funko does not publicly release real-time inventory data for specific SKUs, so I cannot confirm with certainty if the 2024 Shrek (Roaring) Pop! is currently in print. Availability for recent releases fluctuates frequently, so checking the current stock status on Funko's official website or major retailers is the most reliable way to determine if it is available to buy new.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, and verifying that the head articulates smoothly without excessive wobble. You should also examine the box for any creases, tears, or fading, as these factors significantly impact the item's value if it is intended for resale. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a third-party certification service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical state.
