The Siamese Pop! Pets is not generally considered rare, as it was part of a mass-produced 2016 series. It is a standard production item, and while specific variants or limited editions might be harder to find, the base figure is widely available.
The value of a 2016 Funko Siamese Pop! Pets figure varies significantly based on condition, with sealed boxes typically commanding a premium over loose figures. As a common item from a popular series, it generally does not hold high resale value compared to rare or limited editions. For the most accurate current market price, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay, as values fluctuate with supply and demand.
To authenticate your 2016 Siamese Pop! Pets figure, first verify that the base is solid black plastic and that the eyes are painted with a glossy finish, as early production runs typically feature these characteristics. Check the bottom of the base for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and the year "2016," ensuring the SKU number 13 is present if printed. Compare the figure's proportions and paint application against known authentic examples, looking for consistent molding and the absence of excess plastic flash or misaligned seams.
The Siamese Pop! Pets was released in 2016 by Funko.
The Siamese Pop! Pets figure (SKU 13) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As part of the original 2016 Pets line, this item has been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced or sold through official retail channels.
To grade a Siamese Pop! Pets figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold seams, paying close attention to the ears and tail where stress fractures often occur. Check the base for scuffing and ensure the figure stands level without wobbling, as uneven bases can indicate internal damage. For a formal grade, submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical defects.
