Common questions about the Simba (Leaf Mane) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Simba (Leaf Mane) Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the Disney line that was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific production runs for any Pop! figure are finite, this figure does not carry the limited-edition status or scarcity that defines rare collectibles.
There is no reliable market data indicating that a "Simba (Leaf Mane)" variant exists for Funko Pop! Disney SKU 302. This specific SKU corresponds to the standard Simba figure, and the "Leaf Mane" description does not match any known official production variant or chase figure for this item. Consequently, its value is determined by the standard retail and secondary market prices for the regular Simba Pop! vinyl figure.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the figure inside matches the official product images for SKU 302. Check the base of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean without excessive bleeding or gaps, which are common signs of counterfeits. You can also cross-reference the barcode and SKU number on the box with Funko's official catalog to confirm the item's legitimacy.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Simba (Leaf Mane) Pop! Disney figure with SKU 302. Funko SKU 302 is generally associated with a standard Simba figure, and the "Leaf Mane" description may refer to a specific variant, exclusive, or a misidentified product. Without verified data linking this specific SKU to that particular design, I cannot provide an accurate release date.
Funko has discontinued the Simba (Leaf Mane) Pop! Disney figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While it is not currently available for new purchase, the figure may still be found on the secondary market through third-party resellers, though prices are often significantly higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Simba (Leaf Mane) Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, paying close attention to the leaf details on the mane and tail. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of smudges, and ensure the figure is securely seated in the base without excessive wobble. If you intend to have it professionally graded, place the figure in a protective case and submit it to a recognized grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical grade based on its overall cosmetic condition.
