The Simba (Variant) Pop! Disney (SKU 302) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced release from 2017. While variant figures can sometimes command higher prices than their standard counterparts due to lower print runs, this specific item was widely available and is generally found in good condition on the secondary market.
The value of the 2017 Simba (Variant) Pop! Disney figure (SKU 302) fluctuates based on its condition and current market demand, typically ranging from $10 to $25 for a sealed item in good condition. As a standard variant from a popular franchise, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price, and prices for unopened figures often hover near or slightly below the $12.99 MSRP. For an accurate, real-time valuation, checking recent sold listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2017 Simba (Variant) Pop! (SKU 302), first verify that the box is sealed with a tamper-evident sticker and that the figure's paint is crisp without bleeding. Check the base of the figure for a clean, molded "Funko" logo and ensure the plastic has the characteristic smooth, high-quality finish typical of genuine products. If the figure is loose, compare its specific variant details against high-resolution images from Funko's official catalog or reputable collector databases to confirm the colorways and sculpting match the 2017 release.

The Simba (Variant) Pop! Disney (SKU 302) is no longer in print and is not available to purchase new from Funko. This specific variant, which features a unique colorway or design, was part of a limited production run in 2017. To grade a Simba (Variant) Pop! Disney, you should first inspect the vinyl figure for common defects such as paint overspray, mold lines, or scratches, and verify that the box is free from significant damage like creases or water spots. If you intend to submit it for professional grading, the figure must be in its original, unopened box, as services like PSA do not grade loose vinyl figures. For a casual condition check, compare the item against high-resolution images of a known good copy to identify any deviations in color or finish.
