No, the Simon Le Bon (Wild Boys) Pop! Rocks is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2023 as part of their regular Pop! Rocks line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally available for purchase at retail prices.
The Simon Le Bon (Wild Boys) Pop! Rocks by Funko (SKU 327) is a standard retail collectible that typically trades for around $10 to $15 in new, sealed condition. As a common release from the 2023 Pop! Rocks line, it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price, and values generally remain stable or fluctuate slightly based on local availability.
To authenticate your Simon Le Bon (Wild Boys) Pop! Rocks, verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo, the specific SKU 327, and a barcode that matches the product listing. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct articulation points typical of the Pop! Rocks line. Since Funko does not provide individual certificates of authenticity for standard retail items, purchasing from authorized retailers and checking for signs of tampering on the box are the most reliable methods to ensure the item is genuine.
The Simon Le Bon (Wild Boys) Pop! Rocks was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has not officially announced a discontinuation of the Simon Le Bon (Wild Boys) Pop! Rocks, so it remains technically in print. However, availability fluctuates significantly, and the figure is frequently out of stock on major retail platforms like Amazon and the Funko website. You should check current inventory on Funko's official site or authorized retailers, as it may require purchasing from third-party marketplaces if it is not available directly from the manufacturer.
Pop! Rocks figures are generally not graded by major third-party services like PSA or CGC, so their value is determined by the condition of the original packaging and the figure itself. To condition-check the item, inspect the box for any dents, creases, or shelf wear, and verify that the figure is securely seated within its plastic window without any visible scratches, paint chips, or loose parts. Since these are small, mass-produced items, the primary factor for collectors is whether the box remains in mint condition, as opening it significantly reduces resale value.
