The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Sinestro Pop! Heroes figure is not considered rare. As a standard production item from the original 2011 lineup, it was widely distributed and remains easily available in both new and used condition.
The value of a Funko Pop! Sinestro (SKU 12) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically commanding a premium over open ones. As a common character from a long-running line, it is generally not a high-value investment, and prices fluctuate based on current market demand. For an accurate, up-to-date valuation, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces.
It is not possible to authenticate a Sinestro Pop! Heroes figure from 2011 because Funko did not launch the Pop! line until 2015. Therefore, any item claiming to be a 2011 Funko Pop! is definitively a fake or a mislabeled product from a different manufacturer.
The Sinestro Pop! Heroes was released in 2011 by Funko.
The Sinestro Pop! Heroes (SKU 12) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a figure from the original 2011 release, it is now considered a discontinued item, meaning any new purchases must be sourced from the secondary market, such as online resale platforms or local collectibles shops.
To grade a Sinestro Pop! Heroes, you should submit the figure to a professional grading service such as PSA, which will evaluate the item's condition on a scale from 1 to 10. The grading process focuses on specific flaws, including paint damage, seam lines, and the integrity of the packaging, with the sealed box condition being a primary factor for high scores. For a casual condition check, inspect the figure for any scuffs, missing paint, or loose parts, and verify that the box is free from dents, creases, or tape residue.
