No, the Sir Mix-A-Lot Pop! Rocks figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2022 release cycle and was widely available through major retailers. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, its market value typically remains close to retail price.
The retail value of the 2022 Sir Mix-A-Lot Funko Pop! Rocks (SKU 275) is typically around $10 to $15. As a standard mass-produced item, its secondary market value generally remains at or below retail price, with used copies often selling for less than $10 depending on condition.
To authenticate your 2022 Sir Mix-A-Lot Pop! Rocks (SKU 275), verify that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth, consistent finish and that the "Funko" logo is clearly embossed on the base. Check that the packaging is a standard Funko Pop! box with the correct product name, image, and SKU number printed on the back, and ensure the window is intact without signs of tampering. While minor paint imperfections can occur in mass production, significant defects, off-brand materials, or missing logos are indicators of a counterfeit item.
The Sir Mix-A-Lot Pop! Rocks was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Sir Mix-A-Lot Pop! Rocks, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, these listings typically represent used inventory or third-party stock rather than fresh production.
Pop! Rocks are miniature vinyl figures that are not typically graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA or Beckett, so there is no standardized numerical grading scale for them. To assess condition, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, or mold lines, and verify that the base is intact and free of cracks. Since these items are often sold in sealed boxes, the condition of the packaging is also a significant factor in determining value, with unopened boxes generally commanding a higher price than loose figures.
