Common questions about the Skeleton Goofy (Glow) Pop! Disney from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Skeleton Goofy (Glow) Pop! is not considered a limited edition or exclusive variant, as it was part of the standard 2022 Disney Halloween release. While the glow-in-the-dark vinyl finish makes it visually distinct from standard figures, its availability was broad rather than scarce. Therefore, it is generally classified as a common collectible rather than a rare item.
The 2022 Skeleton Goofy (Glow) Pop! (SKU 1221) is a limited-edition glow-in-the-dark variant of the Disney Pop! line. Its value is highly dependent on condition and whether it remains in its original sealed box, with unopened copies typically commanding a premium over opened figures. As a relatively recent release, its market value fluctuates, so checking current listings on secondary markets like eBay or StockX is the most reliable way to determine its present-day worth.
To authenticate your 2022 Skeleton Goofy (Glow) Pop! (SKU 1221), first verify that the vinyl figure exhibits the correct translucent, glowing finish characteristic of the Glow-in-the-Dark series, which should visibly emit light in a darkened room. Check the base for a clean, uncracked surface and confirm the box seal is intact with the correct SKU 1221 printed on the label. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp details, and the official Funko logo on the base, as poor paint application or misaligned parts are common indicators of counterfeits. If the figure does not glow or the packaging details do not match the official 2022 release specifications, it may be a replica or an older variant.

To grade or condition-check a Skeleton Goofy (Glow) Pop!, first verify the glow effect by placing the figure in a dark room to ensure the phosphorescent paint is intact and evenly distributed. Inspect the vinyl surface for common defects such as hairline cracks, paint chips, or missing parts, paying close attention to the joints and the skull features. Check the base for scuffs and confirm the packaging is sealed if you are evaluating it as a new-in-box item. For a formal grade, you would submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on these physical attributes.
