No, the Skeletor Pop! Rides figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2021 as part of the Masters of the Universe line, and it was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces. Because it was not a limited edition, exclusive, or chase variant, copies remain readily accessible on the secondary market.
The value of the 2021 Funko Pop! Rides Skeletor (SKU 98) fluctuates based on market demand and condition, but it typically sells for between $15 and $25 in retail stores. On the secondary market, sealed copies generally trade for around $15 to $20, while opened figures may sell for less depending on their condition. Prices can spike if the item becomes out of print, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Rides Skeletor (SKU 98), verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo, the "Rides" series branding, and the correct SKU number on the box. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a secure connection between the character and the vehicle base, as poor molding or loose parts often indicate counterfeits. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, comparing the item to high-resolution images of verified 2021 releases and checking for the presence of a holographic sticker or specific packaging seals can help confirm its legitimacy.
