Common questions about the Slim Pop! Movies from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Slim Pop! Movies (SKU 822) is not considered rare. It was part of a standard retail release in 2019 and was widely distributed through major toy and collectible retailers. Because it was produced in large quantities and is no longer in production, it is generally easy to find on the secondary market at a modest price.
The value of a 2019 Funko Slim Pop! Movies figure (SKU 822) depends heavily on its specific character, condition, and whether it is sold in its original packaging. Generally, these figures retail for approximately $10 to $15, and used copies in good condition typically trade within that same range on secondary markets. Without a specific character name, a precise market valuation is not possible, but it is not considered a rare or high-value collectible.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without visual inspection. To authenticate a Funko Pop! Movies Slim figure, you should examine the packaging for a holographic sticker, check the box for a scannable QR code that links to Funko's official verification database, and inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application and sharp molding details typical of genuine production.
The Slim Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the production of the 2019 Slim Pop! Movies series, so these figures are no longer available to buy new from the manufacturer. While specific individual figures may occasionally appear as new-in-box on third-party resale platforms, the line itself is out of print and generally only available through the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for Funko Slim Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by individual collectors based on visual inspection. You should examine the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, loose limbs, or seam lines, and verify that the original box is free of significant damage, crushing, or fading. Because these items are not graded like trading cards, their value is determined by their specific condition relative to the market, making a clear description of any flaws essential for accurate valuation.
