No, the Sloth (Pirate Hat) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release from the 2021 *One Piece* collection and was widely available through major retailers. While specific production runs for individual figures can vary, this item was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, making it relatively easy to find in new or used condition.
The Sloth (Pirate Hat) Pop! Movies figure is a standard retail item that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.00 to $15.00 when new in box. Because it is a common release from 2021, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies generally trade for less than the retail price.
To authenticate your 2021 Sloth (Pirate Hat) Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging includes a holographic Funko sticker and that the box is sealed with the standard Funko tape. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the correct SKU number 1065 printed on the base or packaging. If the vinyl feels rough, the colors are faded, or the logo on the box appears misaligned, the item may be a counterfeit, in which case you should consult Funko’s official authentication resources or a reputable third-party grading service for a definitive assessment.
The Sloth (Pirate Hat) Pop! Movies was released in 2021 by Funko.
The Sloth (Pirate Hat) Pop! Movies figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko or major retail partners. As a 2021 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is limited to remaining inventory at third-party resellers, which often commands a premium price.
To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint transfer, or missing accessories like the pirate hat, and verify that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps. Examine the box for signs of shipping damage, such as crushed corners, creases, or scuffs, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. If you are seeking a professional grade, you can submit the figure to third-party grading services like Pop Grading, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of both the figure and its packaging.
