The Snake Plissken Real Hair Version (SKU CRW004H) is a legitimate product manufactured by Asmus Collectibles, and its authenticity is confirmed by the presence of the specific SKU and MPN codes on the packaging. To authenticate your item, verify that the packaging matches official Asmus branding and that the figure includes the advertised synthetic hair feature, which distinguishes it from standard vinyl versions. I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Asmus Snake Plissken Real Hair Version (SKU CRW004H) is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item. This specific variant is generally considered a limited production run, meaning it is likely out of print and only available through the secondary market.
Condition-checking the Snake Plissken Real Hair Version requires a close inspection of the synthetic hair for signs of matting, breakage, or discoloration, as this is the primary differentiator from the standard vinyl head version. You should also examine the sculpted features and paint application on the head and body for any hairline cracks, fading, or missing details that would lower the grade. Because this is a niche variant, there is no standardized third-party grading scale specifically for this item, so its value is typically determined by its overall completeness and the pristine state of the hair relative to other known examples.
