No, the Snowman Jack Pop! Disney (SKU 448) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Movie Villains series that was widely distributed in retail stores and online. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it is a common collectible item rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of a Snowman Jack Pop! Disney figure varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is new in box, and current market demand. As a standard Disney release, it typically sells for a modest price, often ranging from $5 to $15 for used copies and slightly higher for sealed items. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! figure like the Snowman Jack (SKU 448) involves checking for specific manufacturing details, such as the "Funko" logo and the "Made in China" text on the base, which should be crisp and legible. You should also inspect the paint application for consistency and look for the correct copyright symbol and year on the packaging, as counterfeits often feature blurry printing or misaligned graphics. While there is no single definitive test, comparing the figure's proportions, eye gloss, and base texture against high-resolution images of a verified original is the most reliable method for casual buyers.
The Snowman Jack Pop! Disney (SKU 448) was released in 2017. It is part of the Disney Villains collection and features the character Jack Frost from the film "Frozen."
Funko has discontinued the Snowman Jack Pop! Vinyl Figure (SKU 448), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear in third-party retail inventory, new stock is generally unavailable, and collectors typically must seek out used copies on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verifying that the eyes are properly aligned and free of debris. You should also examine the packaging for any signs of wear, such as creases, tears, or "shelf wear" on the corners, as these factors significantly impact the item's value. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service, though this is less common for standard retail releases than for rare variants.
