No, the Sora (Monsters Inc) Pop! Disney (SKU 485) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney Monsters, Inc. line that was widely available in retail stores and online. The Sora (Monsters Inc) Pop! Disney figure, SKU 485, is a standard production item that typically retails for approximately $10 to $12. In the secondary market, unopened copies generally sell for around $10, while opened figures usually trade for less, often between $5 and $8, depending on condition. There is no significant premium for this specific variant, so prices remain stable and close to retail.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Sora (Monsters Inc) with SKU 485, first verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number on the bottom or side. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the standard Funko "F" logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor paint coverage. If you purchased the item from an authorized retailer, it is likely authentic, but you can cross-reference the packaging and figure details against images from Funko's official website or reputable collector communities to confirm.

The Sora (Monsters Inc) Pop! Disney, SKU 485, is currently out of print and no longer available for purchase directly from Funko. This figure is part of the 2001 Monsters, Inc. movie release line, which has been discontinued, meaning new units are only obtainable through the secondary market.
It is important to clarify that Sora is a character from the *Kingdom Hearts* video game series, not *Monsters Inc*, so the premise of the question contains a factual error. For grading a Funko Pop! vinyl figure, you should inspect the paint for scratches or fading, check the seams for gaps or misalignment, and verify that the eyes are properly seated and free of cloudiness. While professional grading services exist for high-value collectibles, most standard Funko Pops are evaluated by collectors based on these visual condition factors rather than a formal numerical grade.
