The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Sorcerer Mickey (Fantasia) Pop! Disney (SKU 990) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released in 2020 that was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific limited editions or exclusive variants may be harder to find, the base model remains a common item in the secondary market.
The retail value for the Funko Pop! Sorcerer Mickey (Fantasia) #990 is typically around $12.99, as it is a standard production figure that remains widely available. Because this item is not rare and is frequently sold at full price or discounted at major retailers, its market value generally does not exceed its original retail price. Collectors should expect to pay close to the standard retail cost unless purchasing a sealed display box, which may carry a slight premium.
To authenticate your Sorcerer Mickey (Fantasia) Pop! Disney, verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the specific SKU 990, and check for the "Funko" branding on the base of the vinyl figure. Inspect the paint application for consistency, as genuine figures typically have clean lines without significant bleeding, and ensure the box seal is intact if the item is unopened. If the packaging or figure quality appears off, you can cross-reference the SKU against Funko's official product listings to confirm the item's authenticity.
The Sorcerer Mickey (Fantasia) Pop! Disney was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Sorcerer Mickey (Fantasia) Pop! Disney figure (SKU 990) is no longer in print and is not currently available to buy new from Funko. As a 2020 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new copies are only obtainable through the secondary market from third-party sellers.
To condition-check a Sorcerer Mickey Pop! Disney, examine the vinyl surface under bright light for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the hat brim and robe edges where wear is most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated in the base and that the eyes are properly aligned, as loose parts or misaligned features significantly reduce value. Check the original box for any dents, tears, or fading, and ensure the SKU 990 and 2020 release date are visible to confirm authenticity. If you require a formal grade for insurance or resale, submit the item to a professional grading service like PSA or Beckett, as self-assessment is subjective.
