Common questions about the Spartan Mark V with Energy Sword Pop! Halo from Funko (2021).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Spartan Mark V with Energy Sword Pop! is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Halo series that was widely distributed through major retail channels in 2021. Because it was not a limited edition, exclusive, or chase variant, its availability in the secondary market remains high.
The retail value of the Funko Pop! Halo Spartan Mark V with Energy Sword (SKU 21) is typically between $10 and $15. As a standard release from 2021, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price on the secondary market, where it generally sells for $10 to $15 in good condition.
You can authenticate your Funko Pop! by checking the bottom of the figure for the official Funko logo and the year of manufacture, which should align with the 2021 release date. Verify that the packaging features the correct SKU number 21 and the standard Funko branding, as counterfeit items often have poor print quality, misaligned seams, or missing logos. If the figure appears to be from a third-party seller without original packaging, inspect the plastic for excessive mold lines or discoloration that would indicate it is a replica.
The Spartan Mark V with Energy Sword Pop! Halo was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Spartan Mark V with Energy Sword Pop! Vinyl Figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, these listings typically consist of used inventory or third-party resellers, and prices often exceed the original retail value.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should evaluate the item yourself by inspecting the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or chipped edges. Check that the energy sword accessory is intact and securely attached, and ensure the figure stands level without significant warping. For resale purposes, the condition is typically described as "mint" if the box is unopened and undamaged, or "near mint" if the figure is removed from the box but shows no visible flaws.
