Common questions about the Speed Racer Pop! Rides from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Speed Racer Pop! Rides figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-produced release by Funko in 2019. Like most figures from that era, it was widely available through major retailers and has not been discontinued in a way that creates significant scarcity.
The 2019 Funko Pop! Rides Speed Racer (SKU 75) is a standard retail item that typically trades for around its original retail price, generally between $15 and $20, when in mint condition with its box. As a mass-produced figure from a popular franchise, it does not command a significant premium in the secondary market, and values fluctuate based on local availability and condition.
To authenticate your Speed Racer Pop! Rides figure, verify that the box displays the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number 75, which corresponds to the 2019 release. Inspect the physical figure for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the standard Funko vinyl texture, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy molding or incorrect color shading. If you purchased the item from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but you can cross-reference the packaging details with Funko’s official product listings to confirm authenticity.
The Speed Racer Pop! Rides was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Rides figures, including the Speed Racer release, are generally produced in limited quantities and are not kept in continuous print. As a 2019 release, this item is likely out of production and is no longer sold new by Funko or major retail partners. Availability is typically limited to the secondary market, where prices may vary based on condition and demand.
There is no official third-party grading service for Funko Pop! Rides, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vehicle and figure for paint chips, scratches, and loose parts. Check that the wheels are intact and the figure is securely seated in the cockpit without visible stress cracks. If you require a formal valuation, you can submit the item to a general collectibles grading service, but be aware that most major companies do not have a specific category for Pop! Rides, which may limit the scope of their authentication.
