Common questions about the Splinter Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Splinter Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1400) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production release for the 2023 *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* movie. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning it does not carry the scarcity of limited editions, exclusives, or early production runs.
The Splinter Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1400) is a standard retail item from the 2023 release wave, and its value is typically determined by the current secondary market price for a sealed, unopened box. As a common mass-produced item, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX will provide the most accurate current market value.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Splinter (SKU 1400), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct 2023 release date and that the figure matches the official product images in terms of color, sculpt, and packaging. Check the bottom of the figure for the standard Funko Pop! logo and copyright stamp, and ensure the vinyl is solid and free of the rough seams or paint bleed common in counterfeits. If the figure feels unusually light, has a weak plastic smell, or the box lacks the proper UPC and barcode, it is likely a replica. For definitive confirmation, you can compare your item side-by-side with high-resolution images from Funko's official website or consult a reputable authentication service.

The Splinter Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1400) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was released in 2023 and has since been discontinued, meaning new stock is only available through secondary markets like eBay or collector resellers.
There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for Splinter Pop! Movies, so you should assess the condition yourself by checking for common defects like paint transfer, missing eyes, or scratches on the vinyl. Inspect the figure under bright light to ensure the paint is intact and the eyes are properly seated, as these are the primary factors affecting value. If you are buying a sealed box, verify that the packaging is undamaged and the window is clear, since the condition of the box often determines the resale price.
