The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Split Kit Garbage Pail Kids Pop! is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard retail release in 2021 and was widely available through major retailers. While specific variants within a split kit may have different production runs, the series itself was a common mass-market item rather than a limited edition.
The value of a 2021 Funko Split Kit Garbage Pail Kids Pop! (SKU 09) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened boxes typically selling for between $15 and $30. Individual figures in mint condition generally range from $5 to $15, while opened boxes or damaged items command lower prices. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2021 Split Kit Garbage Pail Kids Pop! (SKU 09), verify that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth, matte finish and that the "Funko" logo is clearly embossed on the base. Check the packaging for the official Funko branding, a UPC barcode, and the specific SKU number 09 printed on the box, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, incorrect fonts, or missing certification marks. If the vinyl feels porous, has visible seams, or the paint application is sloppy, it is likely a replica. For definitive confirmation, you can compare the item against high-resolution images of the official release on Funko’s website or consult a professional authentication service.

The 2021 Garbage Pail Kids Pop! figures are no longer in print and are not available for purchase as new items from Funko. These figures are currently only obtainable through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Split Kit Garbage Pail Kids Pop!, inspect the vinyl surface for any scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the character's face and any unique accessories. Verify that the figure is securely attached to the backing card and that the card itself is free from creases, tears, or significant wear. Since these figures are typically sold in sealed boxes, the primary grading factor for the unopened item is the integrity of the box, while the figure's condition is only assessed once unboxed.
