No, the 2018 LEGO Star Wars Stormtrooper (set 41620) is not considered rare. It was a standard retail release that was widely available in stores and online during its production run. While retired sets can sometimes see price increases, this specific minifigure remains common and easily accessible in the secondary market.
The Stormtrooper originally retailed for $9.99. Live secondary-market data isn't indexed yet — check eBay sold listings for current value.
Lego does not produce a standalone collectible figure with SKU 41620; this number corresponds to the 2018 Star Wars: The Last Jedi Resistance Fighter set, which includes a Stormtrooper minifigure among other pieces. To authenticate your item, verify that the plastic is solid, the printing is crisp and aligned, and the parts fit together with the characteristic Lego "click" without excessive play. If you are holding a single figure rather than the full set, check for the official Lego logo on the bottom of the torso and ensure the packaging matches the official 2018 release specifications.
The Stormtrooper was released in 2018 by Lego.
Lego set 41620, which features a Stormtrooper minifigure, is a 2018 release that has been discontinued and is no longer in print. Consequently, it is not available to purchase new directly from Lego or major retail channels, and collectors must seek out the set through the secondary market.
Lego minifigures are generally not professionally graded by major third-party services like PSA, so value is determined by their condition relative to the original packaging. For a loose figure, inspect the head and torso for yellowing, check the legs for "leg fade" or discoloration, and ensure the stormtrooper helmet is free of cracks, scratches, or paint loss. If the figure is still in its original box, verify that the packaging is unopened, free of shelf wear, and that the printed box art matches the 2018 release specifications for SKU 41620.
