Common questions about the Stretch Armstrong Pop! Retro Toys from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Stretch Armstrong Pop! Retro Toys figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s Retro Toys line released in 2020, and it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it was part of a regular retail release rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant, it remains relatively common in the secondary market.
The retail price for the 2020 Stretch Armstrong Funko Pop! Retro Toys figure was typically around $12.99. As a mass-produced item from a popular line, its current market value generally hovers near or slightly below that original retail price, depending on whether the item is new in box or opened. Specific fluctuations in value can vary by local market conditions, but it is not considered a rare collectible.
There is no reliable evidence that Funko produced a "Stretch Armstrong" Pop! figure in their Retro Toys line in 2020, as the company's licensed retro toy releases during that period focused on brands like Cabbage Patch Kids, He-Man, and G.I. Joe. Because this specific item does not appear in Funko's official catalog or major collector databases, it is likely a misidentified product, a custom modification, or a counterfeit. You should verify the authenticity by checking the SKU on the box against Funko's official website and examining the packaging for proper licensing logos and barcodes, but be aware that this specific combination of character and year is not a recognized standard release.
The Stretch Armstrong Pop! Retro Toys was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Stretch Armstrong Pop! Retro Toys figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, availability is inconsistent and prices often exceed the original retail value.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by the seller or buyer using informal criteria such as mint-in-box, near-mint, or used. To check the condition, inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or mold lines and verify that the box is free from significant damage, creases, or discoloration. If the figure is unboxed, look for signs of wear on the joints and base, and ensure the head articulation is intact if applicable.
