Common questions about the Su-Metal Pop! Rocks from Funko (2015).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Su-Metal Pop! Rocks figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2015 lineup. It was widely available through major retail channels and online marketplaces during its initial release window. While specific production numbers are not publicly disclosed by Funko, the item is generally accessible to collectors and does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-edition variants.
The value of a 2015 Funko Pop! Rocks Su-Metal figure (SKU 43) is highly variable and depends on its condition, specifically whether it is unopened in the box. As a mid-tier item from a popular band, it typically sells for a modest premium over retail price in the secondary market, generally ranging from $15 to $30 for a sealed figure, though exact prices fluctuate based on current demand.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the existence of a "Su-Metal" character in the Funko Pop! Rocks line for 2015, as this appears to be a non-standard or fictional item name. Because the specific SKU and character do not match verified Funko production records, I cannot provide authentication steps for this particular item.
The Su-Metal Pop! Rocks was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Su-Metal Pop! Rocks figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2015 release, it is considered out of production, meaning new copies are no longer manufactured. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Grading a Su-Metal Pop! Rocks figure involves inspecting the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, as well as checking for any missing parts or loose joints. Since these figures were sold in sealed blind bags, the condition of the original packaging is also a significant factor in determining value, with unopened boxes typically commanding higher prices than opened figures. There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for this niche product line, so value is generally determined by the overall cosmetic condition of the figure and the presence of its original packaging.
