The Sugar Plum Fairy Pop! Disney (SKU 459) is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from Funko's Disney line, and while specific color variants may be less common, the base figure is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The value of a Funko Pop! Disney Sugar Plum Fairy (SKU 459) varies significantly based on condition, packaging, and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $25 in the secondary market. Prices are generally lower for loose figures and higher for sealed boxes, with rare color variants or exclusive releases commanding a premium. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
Funko Pop! figures do not have individual serial numbers or holographic stickers for authentication, so verifying authenticity relies on examining the physical quality of the vinyl, paint application, and packaging. Check for sharp, clean edges on the figure, accurate color matching to the official product images, and a properly printed box with the correct SKU 459 and Disney licensing logos. If the figure feels lightweight, has visible mold lines, or the box lacks the standard Funko security features, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Funko Pop! Disney Sugar Plum Fairy (SKU 459) was released in 2019. This figure is part of the Disney Villains collection and was made available to the public in late 2019.
Funko Pop! Disney #459 Sugar Plum Fairy is no longer in production and is considered out of print. Consequently, it is generally unavailable for purchase directly from Funko or major retail partners as a new item. Collectors typically must seek out this figure on the secondary market, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for manufacturing defects such as paint errors, seams, or cracks, as well as signs of wear like scuffs or fading. You should also verify that the head is properly aligned and that the box is free of significant damage, though the figure itself is the primary value driver. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a professional third-party grading service, as there is no standardized official grading scale for ungraded Funko Pops.
