Common questions about the Sully (Flocked) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Sully (Flocked) Pop! Disney is not considered a rare item, as it was a standard mass-production release from the Disney Monsters, Inc. line. While flocked variants are generally more sought after than standard versions due to their unique texture, they were produced in significant quantities and are widely available in the secondary market.
The value of the Sully (Flocked) Pop! Disney (SKU 1156) fluctuates based on market demand and condition, but it typically sells for between $15 and $30 when new in box. Because this is a standard retail release rather than a limited edition, it does not generally command a premium price above its original retail value. Prices may vary slightly depending on the seller and current availability on secondary markets like eBay.
To authenticate your Sully (Flocked) Pop! Disney, first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself features the distinct, high-quality flocking texture characteristic of the official release. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application on non-flocked areas is clean and consistent with factory standards. While there is no single definitive serial number for this specific SKU, comparing the weight, articulation, and packaging quality against a known genuine example is the most reliable method for buyers.
Funko does not publish specific release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures in their official records. While the Sully (Flocked) figure (SKU 1156) is part of the Disney Monsters, Inc. line, the exact launch date is not reliably documented in standard manufacturer catalogs.
The Sully (Flocked) Pop! Disney (SKU 1156) is currently out of print and no longer available to purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. As a limited edition holiday release, it is typically only found on the secondary market through third-party resellers.
Condition-checking a flocked Pop! Vinyl requires special care because the soft, fuzzy texture is easily damaged by handling, moisture, and dust. You should inspect the flocking for any bald spots, clumping, or areas where the material has been rubbed off, particularly on the head and hands. Additionally, check for any cracks in the underlying vinyl, discoloration, or missing paint, keeping in mind that the flocking itself cannot be professionally graded by standard services like PSA due to its fragile nature.
