Common questions about the Sunset Shimmer Pop! Digital from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Sunset Shimmer Pop! Digital is not considered rare because it was a standard digital release available for purchase during its 2022 availability window. Unlike limited physical editions, digital collectibles do not have fixed production caps, so their scarcity is determined by the current number of active owners rather than a fixed supply.
The value of a Funko Pop! Digital is not determined by physical market prices, as it is a non-fungible token (NFT) whose worth fluctuates based on digital marketplace demand and rarity. Since digital collectibles do not have a fixed retail price like physical vinyl figures, their value is highly volatile and depends entirely on the current trading volume and buyer interest for that specific SKU. I cannot provide a reliable current monetary value without access to real-time NFT trading data.
It is not possible to authenticate a digital item as "real" in the same way as a physical collectible, as the Sunset Shimmer Pop! Digital is a virtual asset or NFT rather than a tangible object. You can verify the authenticity of your digital file by checking the transaction history on the specific blockchain platform where it was purchased, such as OpenSea, to ensure it was transferred from the original minting address. If you are holding a physical vinyl figure with SKU 67, that is a separate product line, and you should verify its authenticity through standard physical inspection methods like checking the packaging seal and mold quality.
The Sunset Shimmer Pop! Digital was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Digital items are virtual products that are typically released in limited-time windows and are not continuously in print like physical figures. Consequently, the Sunset Shimmer Pop! Digital is no longer available for purchase directly from Funko, and any current listings are likely from third-party resellers.
It is not possible to grade or condition-check a Sunset Shimmer Pop! Digital because it is a digital collectible, not a physical vinyl figure. Digital items exist as data files or tokens and do not have physical attributes like paint, seams, or packaging that require inspection for wear or defects. Therefore, traditional grading services that evaluate physical merchandise do not apply to this item.
