Common questions about the Superman Pop! Heroes from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Superman Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 615) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's widely distributed Pop! Heroes line. These figures are manufactured in large quantities and are commonly available through major retailers and secondary markets. While specific variants like Chase figures are rare, the standard SKU 615 is a common collectible.
The value of a Superman Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 615) varies significantly based on its condition, packaging, and current market demand. As a standard mass-produced collectible, an unopened figure typically sells for a modest premium over its original retail price, while opened figures generally have little resale value. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Heroes Superman (SKU 615), first verify that the packaging is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the box features the correct product numbering and copyright dates. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, proper eye alignment, and the distinct "Funko" logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy molding or incorrect color saturation. If the item is unboxed, compare its physical dimensions and weight against a verified authentic example, noting that genuine Funko Pops typically weigh between 100 and 150 grams. For definitive confirmation, you can submit the item for authentication through a third-party service like PSA or utilize the Funko app's verification features if available for that specific release.
Funko did not release a standard Superman Pop! figure with SKU 615; that specific number corresponds to the "Superman" figure from the *The Lego Movie* series, which was released in 2014. There is no widely recognized "Superman Pop! Heroes" line with that SKU, so the premise of the question appears to conflate a specific Lego Movie character with a general superhero title.
Funko has discontinued the Superman Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 615), so it is no longer in print. It is not available for purchase new from Funko's official channels or major retailers. Collectors seeking this item must look for used copies on the secondary market, such as eBay or specialty collectible shops.
There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for a single unit. To assess condition, inspect the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as seams, paint overspray, or chipped edges, and verify that the figure is in its original, unopened box with the window intact. The most reliable method for determining value and condition is to compare your specific SKU against recent sold listings on secondary markets like eBay to see what price range unopened units are currently commanding.
