No, the Superman Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 85) is not considered rare. It was part of the standard, mass-produced Funko Pop! Heroes line released in 2015, meaning it was widely available in retail stores and online at the time of its launch. While original, unopened figures from that era may command a premium over current retail prices due to age, the item itself is a common collectible rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The value of a 2015 Superman Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 85) varies significantly based on its condition and packaging. A standard figure in a sealed box typically sells for approximately $10 to $20, while an unboxed figure in good condition generally ranges from $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most reliable way to determine the current value.
To authenticate a 2015 Superman Pop! Heroes (SKU 85), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko logo and that the figure inside matches the official product photography for that specific release. Check the base of the vinyl figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean without significant bleeding, which is common in counterfeits. While SKU 85 is a standard number in the Pop! line, cross-referencing the specific character design and packaging details against verified 2015 release records is the most reliable way to confirm authenticity.

The Superman Pop! Heroes (SKU 85) is no longer in print and is not available for purchase as a new item from Funko. This figure was part of the original Pop! Heroes line, which has been discontinued and replaced by the current Pop! Vinyl series. Collectors seeking this specific item must look for used or pre-owned copies on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned parts, as well as checking the box for any damage. While third-party grading services like PSA can authenticate and grade the item, the market generally values these figures based on their original packaging and the absence of visible flaws rather than a formal numerical grade.
