Common questions about the Superman with Crystal (Fortress of Solitude) (1978) Pop! Heroes from Funko (2025).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, this figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's Pop! Heroes line, which typically releases figures in large quantities for general retail availability. While specific color variants or limited editions can become scarce, the standard SKU 537 release is widely available and not classified as a rare collectible.
I cannot provide a reliable market value for this specific item. As a 2025 release, it is too new for established secondary market pricing data to exist, and I do not have access to real-time inventory or sales records.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific item without physical inspection or high-resolution images of the packaging and figure. To authenticate your Funko Pop! Heroes Superman with Crystal (Fortress of Solitude) (1978), check for the official Funko logo, a valid SKU number matching 537, and a scannable QR code on the box that links to Funko’s official product page. Additionally, examine the figure for consistent paint application, clear plastic crystal details, and the correct copyright date on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor plastic quality.
The Superman with Crystal (Fortress of Solitude) (1978) Pop! Heroes was released in 2025 by Funko.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that this specific 2025 release is currently in print or available for purchase. Funko frequently rotates its inventory, and without a verified current stock listing from an official retailer, it is not possible to definitively state its availability.
Condition-checking this figure primarily involves inspecting the crystal component for scratches, cloudiness, or separation from the base, as well as examining the vinyl body for paint chips, especially on the cape and suit details. You should also verify that the crystal is securely attached and that the figure stands level without wobbling, which can indicate a loose joint or manufacturing defect. Since this is a 2025 release, it is unlikely to have an established third-party grading population, so grading it through services like PSA or Beckett is generally unnecessary unless you are selling a sealed, unopened box.
