The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the T-Boz Pop! Rocks is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2021 Pop! Rocks line, which was widely distributed and released in large quantities. While specific variants like chases or exclusives may be harder to find, the standard SKU 195 figure is generally common and readily available on the secondary market.
The T-Boz Pop! Rocks (SKU 195) is a standard retail collectible that typically trades at or near its original retail price, generally ranging from $5 to $10 for a sealed figure in good condition. Because it is a common item from a popular line, it does not carry a significant premium over its MSRP, and its value is largely determined by current local market availability rather than rarity.
To authenticate your T-Boz Pop! Rocks (SKU 195), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a smooth, matte finish and that the paint application is clean without significant bleeding or pooling. Check the base for a clear, legible copyright stamp that reads "© Funko Inc." along with the year and the specific SKU number 195. Additionally, inspect the packaging for the official Funko logo, the "Pop! Rocks" branding, and a barcode that matches the product listing, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, incorrect fonts, or missing regulatory information. If the figure feels unusually lightweight, has a strong chemical smell, or the packaging lacks the standard Funko quality control, it is likely a replica.
The T-Boz Pop! Rocks was released in 2021 by Funko.
The T-Boz Pop! Rocks (SKU 195) is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2021 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new copies can only be found on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a T-Boz Pop! Rocks figure involves inspecting the vinyl for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or molding imperfections, which are typical for mass-produced items. You should also verify that the figure is complete with all original packaging, including the box and any included accessories, as the box condition significantly impacts value. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and its packaging on a standardized scale.
