Common questions about the Tai Pop! Movies from Funko (2025).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Tai Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is part of a standard mass-produced Funko Pop! Movies series. With a 2025 release date and SKU 1809, it is a current production item available through regular retail channels. Rarity typically applies to limited editions or discontinued items, which this standard release does not fit.
As a 2025 release, the Tai Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1809) is currently a new release, so its value is primarily anchored to its retail price. Because it has not yet established a secondary market history, its worth is best estimated by its original retail cost, typically around $12.99 USD. Collectors should expect the value to remain near retail until the item has been on the market long enough for a consistent resale trend to form.
To authenticate your Funko Tai Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1809), first verify the packaging for the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number, and a scannable barcode. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp paint lines, and the embossed "Funko" logo on the base, as counterfeit figures often feature blurry printing or uneven seams. Check the holographic sticker on the box for authenticity, and compare the figure's proportions against official product images, noting that the 2025 release should feature the specific movie-themed design. If the box lacks a tamper-evident seal or the vinyl feels lightweight or rough, it may be a replica.

Grading a Tai Pop! Movies figure involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint imperfections, and seam lines, as well as checking the box for crushing or wear. For a formal grade, you would submit the item to a professional service like PSA, which evaluates the figure and its packaging on a 1-10 scale. For a casual condition check, hold the figure under bright light to reveal any scuffs or missing paint, and verify that the box is square and the lid closes properly.
